Syrians refugees
Syrians refugees are seen in a camp near the northern town of Azaz, on the border with Turkey, on October 5, 2012. Damascus' bloody crackdown on the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad has sparked an exodus that has tripled the number of Syrian refugees in neighbouring countries since June to over 300, 000, according to the UNHCR.

This Was AZAZ.
Azaz, a strategic town roughly 30
kilometres north-northwest of Aleppo and 5 kilometers from the Turkish
border, has been the scene of heavy fighting over the past two weeks.
Regime forces are continually shelling the city and helicopter attacks
are frequent, while rebels retaliate with an anti-aircraft weapon.
